Yes, I know... it's over a month away but Halloween is up there as one of my favourite holidays.
I've been working on my costume and I'm pretty excited... Originally I was going to be a Valkyrie... but I've decided that I'd rather do a group costume... so I'm taking some of the valkyrie elements and putting them into a steampunk costume... The character I'm going to play is an Airship mechanic by the name of Valkyrie.. (  ; Yeah...) I'm starting to gather up the pieces so I can go ahead and start modding them... The corset and the skirt are on their way- I'm pretty sure I'm going to be making the bolero-style jacket and the aviator cap and goggle-wings...Anyway- here's a rough sketch I just doodled up to share how the finished project will hopefully look. I need to do a journal updating... I went to Dragon Con... so much fun... met awesome people... but I can't seem to work up the gumption to write about it. *_* I'm working from 8am-8pm at work now (with the exception of Wednesdays...) |
